What axle is this?

This is a 8.8 and not a 7.5 correct?? I quickly snapped the pic and didn't read the axle tag.

Looks like an 8.8. The 7.5 is shorter in height and is more oval.

looks like an 8.8 to me but if you really wanna be sure...read that tag on the differential cover, it will tell you

That's an 8.8. A 7.5 is rounded on the sides.

Looks like it's an 8.8", limited-slip, with 3.27 gears.

Limited slip is the same as Trakloc correct?

Yes. It probably came out of a sn95 mustang if it had 3.27 gears from the factory.

Unfortunately it doesn't have disks or 5 lug. It doesnt have the quad shock brackets either. Thanks for the info everyone!

AOD fox Mustangs could get 3.27's, so they could still be a 4-lug drum rear.

But it should still have quad shock brackets
