I have a 1993 stang. It was stock until I put on;

24lb injectors
cobra computer
70mm mass air
70mm throttlebody
long headers
2.5" exhaust
190 in tank pump

I am running 6lbs of boost, does anyone run more boost with their stock block? I am hoping to go up to 9lbs but I am afraid of blowing up my engine.

How can I achieve this?

get bigger injectors for 9lbs, the 24's might be at their limit.

It's a crap shoot dude.. all depends on the condition of your motor, and how you treat the car once it's on.

I know of at least one who blew his engine at 9psi, and others who've run 14psi for over 30k miles with no problems.

With a good engine, a top notch tune and good maintenance practices you should be able to run 9 easily.

Edit: The guy who blew at 9psi went WOT in 5th at low RPM.. (instead of 3rd.)

It also has allot to do with the blower you're running (which I see no mention of).
