what brand of spark plug are good ?????

ive seen many many many people with over 400hp using autolite copper plugs. if you want colder than go to 24's or even 23's (probably too cold) for you application. my car falls short of your 325hp but ive always used autolite coppers and ive heard nothing but good stuff about them

Autolites are not bad plugs except that Allied Signal goes cheap on the quality of the bases. They use black oxide to coat the metal. It rust like crap under the hood of a car. I love the NGK v-power. This plug is all about performance and the bases are plated and will not rust. They are my favorite choice. Copper is the only thing I would use for the plug material. Dont use platnium or the iriduim junk. The last a lot longer but the do not burn as hot. Copper is the best choice. The platnium crap that Bosch has made famous is a scam. The one that I love is the plugs that have 2 and then 4 electrodes. Electricity flows to the least resistance. Only one of them will receive that fire anyway. It would last longer than most plugs but I dont think people should have to pay up the butt for that joke. Get the NGK sets.

I run NGKs also...couple 3 yrs now...the number I run is the UR45 V Power...They have a V groove on the tang...I gap mine at .060 with the PD ignition I run....

No I meant 2 or 4 electrodes. Dont mess with my intelligence.

chill out dude. per your own link, the center electrode is what the spark emits from. while i have not heard other names for the center electrode (often called the electrode), the 'prongs' or "ground ELECTRODES," per your link, are normally called ground straps or other such names, to avoid confusion. ive never heard anyone in real life call the ground strap an electrode. now that said, at a minumum, you were vague. goin off your link, both are called electrodes, so you NEEDED to clarify which you meant. i should have said." i think you mean ground electrode." would that have made you happy?

how is askin for clarification messing with "your intelligence?" you may be very intelligent, but you were not very articulate in this instance.

take care.

In Ohio we call them ground electrodes. I am sorry for lashing out. I have no intelligence.
Hey, perhaps i did not take the "Dont mess with my intelligence" statement facetiously, if that was how it was intended. no one is name calling or anything else. i told you my perspective on what things are called [in my neck of the woods, i guess], and pointed out that the word 'electrode' would leave ambiguity, since your link referred to two different parts, both with electrode in the name.

no need to be huffy. i said you may be very intelligent, but one word left out created ambiguity; this is no reflection upon intelligence (though i know you were being sarcastic above).
it is no biggie. as far as im concerned we are all equal, and you are cool with me.
