what brand of gears and what shifter should i buy for a stock stang

Get a Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-Ax for your shifter and get Ford Racing Gears. Persoanlly I have the Pro 5.0 and some people around here complain about the handle being to short but I LOVE it!

I like ford racing gears, run them in both of my stangs. Shifter is pretty much all your own preference. I would personally suggest trying each one of them out before you actually buy one if possible. I like Pro 5.0 and the steeda Tri ax. I run a Tri ax with Pro 5.0 handle in my 88 and I run a Pro 5.0 with a Tri ax handle in my 96. May seem strange swapping handles but this proved to make shifting each of the cars more comfortable and precise for me.
