How much do shops charge to install a cam? Plus, what would be a good cam for my car? I'd like to get my car to the 300 hp mark (at the flywheel). Would a cam be the way to go for that, or should I look elsewhere?

BLKsteeda said:IMO I would start with the smaller mods first before jumping into a cam...as far at the 300hp flywheel...I have pretty much every bolt-on plus cams and I put 284 to the wheels which is probably somewhere around 320 at the fly wheel so that should give you kind of an estimate of what it is going to take to get to the 300 mark
