What cam should i use?

The car is an 88 mustang gt. it has a 5 speed. also has gt40p heads untouched. explorer intake 411 gears and 150 shot nx kit. and slicks everything else is factory. yes i am running factory headers with gt40ps. im looking for any ideas on what cam i should run with this combo and what exhaust.

thanks for any help.

have you done a mass air conversion yet?

its a california model so it already has it. which posses another problem cuz the plug is differant than other mass sensor but i was trying to get into that yet. but sorry for rambling but yes it has mass.

sorry. wasnt trying to get into that yet.

Truly a stock cam will work very well with that combo, I could recommend a few other cams but the gains will be minimal.... Swapping a nice mandrel bent header will give you some gains

Leave the stock cam... I have a similar setup. I just bought different valvesprings a week ago for mine, so hopefully they work better than the stockers. Supposedly the stock ones suck.

awsome. thanks for the replys. i know the stock cams work well with these heads but the nitrous is throwing me a curveball.
