first off i let me tell you guys i finally took my GT to the track. i my best run was 13.68 @ 101. I had a great time out there

One thing i dont know is if the time i ran is normal for a stang that just has a cold air intake and 3.73 gears in the rear? People were telling me that it was pretty quick for just the mods i have.

I took a video of my engine in the hopes that maybe there is a mod that im not seeing. i noticed that thare was some rtv on block like if someone at somepoint took something apart. I know my engine is dirty

[edit:] I forgot to mention that i bought the car with the mods it has now. the only thing i put on since are flowmasters.

:Track: Im hoping for some tips too. I want to hit high 12s before the end of the summer :Track:

Thanks

Yes...I think that is pretty quick for only those 2 mods...but I couldn't see anything else on your engine besides the CAI...Hitting 12's without some more substantial mods will be tough...6/10 is a lot to take off of your time...

Nice driving!

Hey i run at Cecil county too. do you have a Stick or an auto? Either way thats still a good time for just intake and exhaust without a tune... I run the same time with all the mods in my Sig....

Cecil is where it's at! I love that place. I ran a 13.6 at 103 with my car when it was naturally aspirated. It had a catted x-pipe, removed intake silencer, and 93 octane tune. I can't wait to get her to the track with the blower!

Seems pretty normal to me. sounds smooth and you can hear the injectors clicking along nicely.

Nice run

Sounds like you have a strong running GT. The gears helped you out the most.
