I'm making a run to the bone yard tommorow to get power window motors for my mustang, if i can't find mustang motors what other cars can i get them from?
Have you taken yours apart yet? You should first remove your failed motor and take the face of it off to see if it is just the rollers. That is the most common failure, the rollers break up and fall apart. The motor actually works, but you can't tell because it won't spin the gear. Most autoparts stores sell motor bushings that you can easily swap in for a few dollars.
both of mind are actually gone, sometime ago my car was broken into and the sterio stollen and the sterio stuff in the trunk, i had the window motors and harness in the trunk, and i t was all stollen, so i need to get the motors cuz mine are gone, does anyone know any other cars with the same motor?
