I cannot decide what color to paint my 86 coupe, it's currently some god awful color, I definitely know it's not going back to this ...........

So, the decision, BLACK or The red thats on the late model mustangs??? I plan on changing all the chrome trim to satin black as well. I was set on red until I found a few pics of black four eye cars, now I cant friggin decide!

I'd go with red. Like the Torch Red on newer Mustangs. That would be so wicked. Paint the rubber bumper guards and headlight bezels red to. That would be so sick.

Hmm.. I was going to say black, but since you are already blessed with a black coupe, the other color I would want is silver or gray.

I have 'smoke metallic' paint on my '89 and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'd do something different, you'll get bored with two black coupes even if one is a 4 eye.

it is hard to beat a well prepped nicely painted white mustang with clearcoat..... I know it is plain jane, but man, with the right wheels on that car it would be sick.

i had a colour on my 87 mustang that i got from a friends paint shop! it was called graphite nightmist pearl metallic! its a long friggin name! but man that colour! its kind of a grey but at the same time silver and at night looks like primer and when the sun is shining on it ..it has pinks and blues though it! it sounds confusing but it looks awesome! its a factory ford colour! came on the t-birds but not many! it should be in paint books! grab one and take a look though it! ill scan a pic of my old car later on today! it looks sweet! i have a black car now its looks great but black is so hard to keep clean! and shows every little mark! something silver or the colour i was telling you about would hide things better! good luck and like i said ill try to post some pics of my other car later today! James

The problam I have with vaper is, it has no pearl in it. It just looks very flat and won't dance in the sunlight like a pearl laden paint.
