I'm just busting your balls. I assume you're heating up to install your nitrous system?

me?? nitrous??? id never do such a thing:D

but yes... im going to see how much my stock headed 302 will take.

have a trex pump already n and just need the intank 255. going to shake things down with a 100 shot to get me started and make sure everything works right. then up it to 175. if it holds i will start looking at a 2nd stage
 
I was friends with a dude a while back that claimed to be spraying quite a bit. It was a ported E7/GT40 intake car, can't remember what else he had in it. A lumpy cam of some sort.

Anyway, IIRC he was either spraying 150 and was talking about moving to a 200 shot or spraying 200 and talking about spraying a 250 shot. I really can't remember, this was a few years back. Either way, I remember it being a lot, and he beat the dog piss out of it and it held together. It was a fast car, at least from the butt-o-meter. Never saw it run at the track.

Moral of the story is, I don't see why you couldn't get away with 175 or more, providing you have all your ducks in a row. These little 5.0s can take some abuse.

yea im def going to keep the timing low at that point and keep the fuel to it. the MSD box showed up tuesday so i need to talk to my tuner and have him burn me a chip to set the limiter to the moon and i can set the revlimiter with 6AL2.

clutch should be here next weekend also :)
 
fuel system is going to be a 255 intank and a t rex inline and 24's once i get everything working on the 100 shot. im not worried about the fuel side. im going to put the timing around 12-13* with the 100 shot and see if it likes it there on 93. prob be near 10-11 with the 175.
