Vinyl. They don't make 'em in cloth, and I've called up the mfr and asked them for a one-off at whatever the cost. Didn't work, they say there's no material available for it. Closest they had was a softer, textured vinyl that is OEM for the Honda S2000, but they couldn't guarantee it'd fit my top frame properly so I skipped it.

Went and picked up an NOS full size spare tire/wheel for my MN SSP. Strange thing is it was from another 1989 SSP (Missouri).

Friday: finished putting t5 together

Saturday: attached t5 to engine hanging from hoist

Sunday: Put engine back in car, driveshaft, x pipe

Monday: alternator, power steering pump

Tuesday: radiator, fan, hoses

Wednesday: starter, clutch
cable, o2 sensors, engine grounds, mocked up upper intake to see what goes where.

slow progress but it's getting there. I should be done on Friday since I can't work on it tomorrow.

Finally got my Cobra calipers for my brake upgrade/5 lug swap took 2 weeks to get but was worth it only paid $50.00 per caliper with bracket and they are reman and did not have to pay the core charge..

Where did you get them from? Do tell.

I don't think it would've fit otherwise since I had a passenger I have a funny picture of me in the car w/the trophy taking up half the interior and sticking out the back a foot.

Where did you get them from? Do tell.

I got them from advatage out parts I work at an auto shop and we have a good partnership with the manager and he gave me a great price on them. I really thought about getting more of them and selling them for more money. When i was looking for them i could not find them for less than $300.00

Oh also i bought my wheel for the 5 lug swap today some 18x10 and 18x9 bullitts black.

Today i learned three things:

1) an 8,000 RPM Autometer tach will actually read past 8k

2) my engine will in fact bury that same Autometer tach.

3) I could use some clean shorts, and a rev limiter.

That car will look 100x better if you take the window trim, cowl grill and wiper arms off and do them in satin black.

New wipers after 7 years lol...funny thing is it's only seen rain maybe 5x in the 7.
