I want the car to be louder and whats the benifit of X vs H off road pipe? Is one louder? Also what all do I need to add one. I saw in one thread an extension???? I will probably buy one today. Do I need a fake sensor?

BTW I have flow 40s on the car. Would an X-pipe make a nice loud sound? Anyway! Tell me anything I need and I will get right on it!!

Thanks all!

I recently talked to a guy who owns a hot rod store that specializes in Mustangs. He said an aftermarket H-pipe will give you more high end torque, and an aftermarket X-pipe will give you more high and low end torque.

Mustangexhaust.com says H-pipes sound deeper and aren't as loud.

Read every exhaust related thread on here. There's so much to learn.

i have bbk o/r x w/ flow 40s, it sounds great, not all out raspy like everyone says, sounds good cruising, and awesome when getting on it. you'll need MIL eliminators, shouldnt need 02 extensions since u dont have longtubes, correct me if im wrong.

04's need extensions because Ford changed where the rear O2 bungs are located. Also some say you would be better off getting new gaskets for the passenger side manifold as well as new bolts. I do not have the part numbers, sizes or anything. So if someone knows off hand help him and me out.

Quick question..

I see it's recommended to get new studs from NAPA to replace the stock ones on the driver-side. Is this necessary for the passenger side too?

Am I correct to assume that these are the parts needed?

- Napa Stud Kit (x2) one pair for driver-side, one pair for passenger-side
- Passenger-side gasket
- MIL Eliminators
