The UPR X is the same thing as my Pypes X basically, just different name. I got it for 167 at Brenspeed.

we'll see, dont see why i should spend 250 bucks on a o/r x-pipe when i can get the pypes or upr for so much cheaper. Ill see, for now though, its just going to be the x-pipe with the stock catback.

I dont think so, my 98 GT has that older muscle car tone, for this one, i kinda want that modern muscle tone. I was thinking of the Borla Stinger set up, or maybe the Magnaflow Magnapaks. But imma just buy the mufflers then have a shop do the piping for me just because it'll save me about 250 bucks.

That's cool, I like the borla stingers but they are expensive.

Other than some fitment issues while installing it, i'd say it's alright.

I have a UPR and the fitment is great. Only thing I did was caot it with some hi temperature paint so that it wouldn't rust.
I have it matched to dumped magnaflows and it sounds amazing

SLP's sound nice, but i wouldnt do those with an o/r x pipe, that'll be too loud/obnoxious for me. Plus, i really want my car to give a ''smooth'' look. And thats why im leaning towards Borla's and Magnaflows.

in that vid, yes i ran a 12.9...my mods at that time were the upr x, borla catback, 4.10s, tb/plenum,ud pullies, cai and a 75shot of nitrous....later on that same nite i ran a 12.6, and a week after a 12.4, still on the 75shot.

i know have tb/plenum, ud pullies, cai, longtubes, x pipe, catback, 3800stall, 4.10's and a dyno tune and have ran a best of a 13.04 n/a

so now im hoping to run a low 12 on the 75shot and maybe a high high 11 on the 100 shot.

btw, ran those time with MT Drag Radials.
