Trying to clean up the engine compartment while the engine is out. I see this thing on the firewall. It has letters on it and some hoses coming out of the bottom of it. I do not have a/c, I have removed any coolent going into the interior compartment so I will not be using my heater controls or fans.

Sould someone tell me what all the letters stand for or what they do? Second the large hose to the far right goes to the master brake canister, the other small under the letters a c goes to the passenger side of the engine compartment and plugs into a small black diapham looking thing. What does this do and can I get rid of it?

The small hose that leave at the bottom of the diapham looking thing goes through the firewall and into the interior compartment. Anyone know where this attaches to inside and do I need it? Hope the pics come through.

Thanks,
Ben

This is a vaccum block. It it used to split up the vaccum to the Brake Booster and the A/C controls inside the car. Your not going to need it. But make sure you have vaccum going to the Brake Booster from the Intake manifold.
S= vaccum source (plugs into your intake manifold)

PS (I try calling you but the line was busy)
