The first link doesnt work, but Tokicos are pretty good quality for the price.

If you end up going with the KYB's, you can get the set on ebay for about $100 cheaper than 5.0 resto. I have them on mine and really like the way they ride/handle.

kyb's are good, I have them on my 89gt, but took off the quad shock to fit a wider rim and tire combo.

anyone else? Ive got everyone saying go with KYB over Tokicos but then someone saying KYB sucks...anything has to be better than my broke stock ones right? lol

Yes, much better! I dont have lots of miles on mine, so I cant attest to longevity, but initial quality is excellent, especially for the price. I bought mine from this guy, cant beat the price!

Hey thanks alot man!! What else did you go with if anything suspension wise?? I also got me a set of eibach pro springs, all i need now is a set of kicker shocks

I've never heard it put that way. The general consensus that I know of is that Tokico's are better liked than KYB - overall damper-wise (price aside).

My feeling is that the KYB's are a great bang for the cash (very hard to beat) but that the HP's can be worth the extra cash, if funds allow.

Since youve already got springs, make sure to replace the spring isolators. I used the poly ones from energy suspension, and I am awaiting shipment on a bumpsteer kit, its just got too much bumpsteer for me to like. i would recommend it if your going lower than 1.5"

well hey man if it isnt to much trouble could you send me some links to the spring isolators and bumpsteer kit your talking about...cause im not to familiar with them??
