i have a 96 gt and i want to do the p.i. swap. i found these heads on ebay. are they worth getting? also, how hard would it to accumulate the rest of the parts needed for the swap (intake, gaskets, coolant tube, valve covers, etc.)

well, I see "rust" on the camshafts, so I'd stay away from them. other parts you'll need including an intake, @$600.00

those heads look like they've been sitting around too long or something. Why are the cams rusted? And like stated above, no mention of mileage. Also, the bid is up to $300. I got mine for $350 and they only have 30k on them and are in perfect shape. Wait for something better.

A little surface rust on the cams is nothing. I had my cams out of my heads and sitting in the trunk of my car for less than a month and they got rusty just from the dampness in the air. Nothing a little still wool didn't take care of and they looked good as new.

Find out the mileage on the heads, ask to see pictures of the deck surface and if everything checks out, bid away, but as stated above, if they go much higher than $350-$375 or so, find another set. I got my '01 Romeo's 2-years ago with only 15,000K on them for that amount.
