Wow. Freight shipping has gone up alot since I bought a Cowl Hood for my '93 GT about 6 years ago. $165 just to get it to your door. I paid $80 for my freight cost. Still 2 days left.

$165 is rediculous for shipping.

I love it when people are like "Wow! An item for this cheap?! It must be a steal" when the auction has like 2 or 3 days left, and then it ends up being like twice as much because of shipping

I know i always look at the shipping too... But the feedback left from other buyers is good but there al private. Buying the hood anywhere else would net more even before shipping, from what i have seen. I dunno, I could take the 5 hr drive to pick it up..

165 is still alot for shipping IMO and usually when you people get stuff like that on ebay when it arrives it is damaged because of the shipper.

I have never had any problems on Ebay because I look at everything in the auctions.Its probably only costing that company like 50 bucks to ship it but they are making up the money there for making you think you got it so cheap with that low starting bid.

I actually just received a Cobra R Svo hood from that seller. Paid $175 with the $20 boxing fee. Shipping was $118, so roughly $300 to the door. Looks farily decent, but it's still got a lot of prep work to be done before paint, like sanding and removing minor imperfections in the gel coat. No damage during shipping that I could see. Still saved at least $200 over most others I compared to, so really not that bad of a deal in the end. I was nervous that they wouldn't take paypal, but it actually showed up so no major complaints here.
