Hey fellow Mustang owners, I've got a question for you all. Here's the story. less than a year ago I purchased some of the clear fog lights from MT/AM and put them on my pony while in storage (for the winter,indoor,heated). I took the car out in about May or so and enjoyed driving around with my cool clear fogs. Well now about two months ago I noticed that the passenger side one is full of condensation. So, being that the new lights havent seen a full year, or 5000 kilometers(canuck) I contact MT/AM to see if I can get a replacement or some resolution to my problem. I was told that it's past their 30 day return policy. Do any companies stand behind the crap they sell anymore? What do you guys think, should they help me out, or is it my problem? Thanks for the input.

you should contact the manufacturer of the fog lamps instead of American Muscle. i don't blame them for not taking back something after that long of a time. it's a manufacturing defect and should be handled by the manufacturer.

take it out dry it with a hair dryer, seal it up with some silicone and throw it back on ur pony, contacting anyone and ordering more is just a headache...i did this with my previous v6 and it worked

i wouldn't take them back after that long either, how do they know you didn't drive your car all this time...seal them up with clear silicone.

had mine since last xmas and have had no condensation problems at all. contact the manufacturer.

i second the silicone fix. at least you were able to install them. hah

i cant figure out how im going to reach those screws on the back of them without havin to take off the whole front bumper cover

MT/AM have excellent service. They did what any middleman company would do.

Agreed. I've purchased several products with them and they have great service.

I myself have had the exact opposite experience. I ordered my shifter gasket, mach 1 chin spoiler, and a few other things and didn't recieve any of them on time. It took almost two weeks for the shifter gasket to get to my door, another week for the chin spoiler (which was boxed when I payed the extra 15 to have it shipped oversized so it wasn't ben) along with my other stuff.

A buddy of mine ordered a MAC o/r H-pipe from them and waited for a week, nothing, called, said it would be another week, waited a week, nothing, again, and again he did this for a month and a half. Finally they said "oh, well, MAC is out of stock so we can't even get them, you should get this bassani peice it sonly $170 more!" F-that! He called up MAC and ordered one direct (for 10 bucks more), and had it in 4 days.

MT/AM = IMO

MAC customer service is the worst though, bar none. I waited 6 MONTHS for an H-pipe.

I had the opposite experience with MAC. Got my H-pipe in no time. Same with MT/AM. I have always gotten my parts very quickly.

I agree with everyone else. Contact the manufacturer. MT/AM has great customer relations.

when the clear headlights they sent me were different than the ones displayed on the site (due to differences in suppliers), they didn't stop helping until I was 100% satisfied with the purchase. Then sent me a T-shirt for being a great customer I guess that was because I was so easy going and patient about the whole thing. Being curteous and patient with those who are trying to help you really goes a long way
