I just bought another Mustang. This one is a 90 LX hatchback. It's Strawberry Red with Chrome Pony's. Owned by a 40+ yearold woman. It has been well taken care of. I paid $6000- for Southern California that's a lot. What do you think? The car is in unusually good shape.

I forgot to mention the "happy junk" the car has:
1.3.55's
2.Centerforce clutch/B&M shifter
3.eibach coils
4. Kenny Brown Track-Link
5. Edelbrock performer heads/Cobra Intake
6. C & L/65mm edelbrock throttle body
7.1.7 rockers/E Cam
8.Aluminum drive shaft
9.Mac unequal lengths,Mac H pipe,Dynomax mufflers,Mac 2.5" tailpipes
10.Paxton SN93 supercharger.

Good deal?

If you're happy with it, it was a good deal. You're the only one who can determine whether you got the value (price combined with contentment) you were looking for. Sounds delightful to me, although I have to wonder with that gear, just how 'used' the car is.

I'll let you know next wednesday when I go to the track. The car was sold because the lady who sold it did not know how to work on it. Her and her ex had 2 similar cars that they built together (he built them). After 8 years they broke up and eventhough they are still friends, his new girlfriend won't let him work on it....hence the sale of the car. I actually found it through him. Supposedly it goes 12.80's on radials at our local track which is at 3000ft. I saw time slips but who knows if they are really from this car. I'm just happy to have another driver. I sold my Saleen and Faleen to buy a BMW....which I'm giving to my wife. Back in the saddle again!!!!!!

Mike, its a 325i. The last of the 325's from what I understand. Only 330's now. I've been driving it for 5-6 months and its probably the best all around car I've ever had. I drive a lot and have put 18,000 miles on it in those 5-6 months. That's why I'm giving it to my wife...she barely drives. At the rate I'm going, I'll drive that thing into the ground in another couple of years. In the long run I think a Mustang is more economical. Not the best on gas but relatively good on parts, easy and cheap to fix.

I would pay that kind of money for a nice car. Good score! Not enough lady gear heads out there.
