What kinda music do you listen to when you are just cruising. Is there a song that just makes you wanna get on it.

I like to listen to mostly rock. Some new lots of old.
Pink Floyd
Tom Petty
Ac/Dc
Metallica(older stuff)
Pantera
Tool
Slipknot
System of a Down
Ozzy
the list could go on and on.....

But when i hear a spot in the Ac/Dc For Those Bout to Rock song, i just want to punch the gas! lol

Just wanna see what kinda tastes for music we share.

HUGE Tool fan as you can tell. i got over 37k songs so its really kind of hard to dumb it down if you will. 95% of it is rock. as far as music to romp on it, mudvayne, strapping young lad. i cant really say a particular band always does it, its more particular songs.

HELL YEAH! slipknot is the ****. especially liberate. but the song that makes me slam the gas is Faint by Linkin Park. When the one guy screams his part for 15 seconds just makes me get that 'chill' up my spine

Pretty much up to Tool on the OPs list.

And add some Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, and Rush in there. And Robert Plants solo stuff is good too.

Master of Puppets is my "drive like a maniac " song.

Tool, RATM, alice n'chains unplugged, john lee hooker greatest hits, all kinds of stuff.

Funny Tool moment...in college I delivered pizza's and took an order to a very "shady" church. I did not realize it but I had the Tool song Opiate playing...if you dont know of this song or what its about you need to listen to it to understand the looks I had leaving.

:rlaugh: I bet I could!!! I was a pizza delivery driver and i had the band KillSwitch Engage and if you don't know how loud the band is. It is really loud. Well i was taking the delivery to an retirement home lol and i didn't realize i was there till i saw the balloons and stuff in the back and all the old people looking at me shaking their head. With that said, i got no TIP!!!!:rlaugh: Oh well:D

How the hell do you do that

Well you see i have a laptop that i use to download music on ( like 30gig) and i had to reformat so i didn't put them on a cd or anything. So yeah i had to start from Scratch. I mostly use iTunes for downloading music, my iPod is my favorite gadget. Anyways i lost all of it, so i went out and got me a 500gb external hard drive for all of that so i dont have to worry bout that ever again.:nice:

Lets see....In High School all i listened to was classic rock and some 90's rock...These days its all classic rock or this new country that has some classic rock taste to it..like Van Zant. But one band that makes me get on the gas is Motley Crue, just about any song will do it too.

that is really funny. :lol::rlaugh:

ACDC "Thunderstruck" - Best song to drive to.
Others...
Ted Nugent, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, Rush, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Doobie Bros., ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Peter Frampton(LIve), Boston, The Who, Metallica, Korn, Killswitch Engage, Ozzy, Distrubed, etc.

I thought you (all) may get a kick out of that.

The fact I was like...wtf is your problem leaving made it. I had the song on a disk but just zoned out as to what I was listening to. I had to stop in off at a street down the road to just LMAO :rlaugh: for a few after I realized what was playing.

I told a few co-workers about it and one made it a point to play the song every time he made a run to that church.
