what do you think about nitrous?

ive got a 91 lx 5.0 and i have an edelbrock performer intake and ordering Thumper performance heads. Do you think i can run a 125 shot of nitrous safely? thanks

I would keep it around 100 shot personally...

I don't see a problem with a 125 shot, long as it is wet. It would be a lot harder to keep up with the fuel demand if it was a dry shot though.
Just don't be stupid about it and you won't have problems.

I have a buddy that runs a 150 dry shot on his 88. He doesn't care if he blows it up, but it can be done. He has no fuel system upgrades and races it about 2-3 times a month at the track.

Forged pistons..... good fuel managment..... fresh bottom end ( as the add'l tq will make the crank dance in the mains ) and 250 is do able!! But always stay conservative, and ALWAYS follow the directions of the system you buy!! Cool??
