ok i just installed a new king cobra clutch in my 2000 gt mustang. only had about 100 miles on it and i was running pretty hard and hit 3rd. i heard a pop and now i have no clutch. if i push the clutch in and try to start the car it starts taking off with the clutch in. the clutch feels real loose. i got under the car and everything is hooked up. i thought maybe the clutch cable came off. when you push in the clutch everything is moving like it should. ?????????

i had a king cobra clutch in my car also. had way more than 100 miles on it but the same exact thing happend to me while i was driving spiritedly and i blew the clutch up. it actually twisted around the center piece. if your cable is hooked up right and your throwout bearing is working then you might have done the same thing. if so that really sucks dude, but it sounds exactly like mine.
