Then go SLP LM I's....they sound like the car has bronchitis.

I'd say based on all the opinions you'll get....most setups sound good. I think it depends on if you're philosophy is "louder is better". I had a mac prochamber and cat-back and it was very deep and muscle sounding. Not the loudest in the world....but I thought it sounded awesome. It was still loud, my wife and dog could hear the rumble of me at 1-2k rpm's from about 1/2 mile away, and it would set off car alarms at WOT.....but not as loud as a straight thru I'm sure.

i love setting off car alarms lol.

another thing to think about if you want a loud setup. you cant do stupid things as much because everyone will be able to hear you such as the cop thats a mile down the road that is radaring. I dont street race because of this because every car around me will know its me and i get the cops called on me.

i just picked up my 04 gt yesterday, and i just had 2 flowmaster 40s installed today, and ran them out to 3 1/2" tips. i had flows on my old 95, and my old 02, then on my hemi. ive always been a fan of the flowmaster sound. loud, aggressive and throaty, with a little gurgle as you down shift. as long as its a vintage muscle car note, then the louder the better, and ill be adding headers and an h pipe later on, but i needed some sound to get me by in the mean time.

If you want loud you need to get slp LM1s catback. You can keep it under 2500 rpms and it isn't that loud but when you hit 2500 it gets loud and at WOT it is insanely loud like a nextel cup car. At least thats the way it is on my buddies 03 mach 1.

o/r X and Magnapacks are a heart melting sound.

I like my setup too, and ive gotten nothing but compliments on it.

o/r X and a Mac catback. I like it, but I wouldnt mind finding a used Prochamber one day.

I've got:

Stock Manifolds
Bassani O/R X Pipe
Magnaflow Magnapack Catback

Sound clip located at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6BWZV_UjKs
The clip honestly doesn't do justice.

I dreamt of this exhaust setup for about a year before I finally bought the Packs. I honestly couldn't be happier Like BurningRubber said, this combination has a heart melting sound.

I like mac but whatever happened to the old school flowmasters? They sounded damn good on the 5.0's.
