What do you think the coupe can do?

Just like the title says, how should it do in the 1/4? Also how much power do you guys think my coupe is putting down?

1989 5.0 engine and T5 transmission

I think low 14s with practice and around 220 rwhp

The engine did a 14.4 when it was in the 89GT (before my freind wrecked it). At the time the only mods were the mass air meter, TB, headers, h-pipe, and exhaust. I would like to think the things I have done to it besides that would get me a little more out of it. I know the gears are kinda holding me back though...

yeah that was the only reason i didnt say 13.9 because of your gears........what gears did your buddies GT have when it ran those times?

not to mention all the intake air you have created is getting bottle knecked when it comes to the heads.............

Higher 13s with about 220-230 rwhp. Get a gear and tires and low 13s high 12s "could" happen. The 3.08s are going to be a 1/4 mile killer!

I got the drivetrain from his car and it had the 3.08s in it.

14's & 15's ??? WTF?????? my hatch went 14.01's all day long with a catback, a hurst short throw, K&N and a chip that did nothing. That was in shreveport.... right about the same elevation as plano, so there should be no reason he couldnt get deep into 13's.. if he drive the f*&$ out of it, i dont see why a very low 13 isnt attainable. def. 12's with gears.

Mid to low 13's is my guess.
