what does 2+2 mean

Is this true or false? Why? A prize to the first person who gives the correc answer (I just got out of calculus and am still in math mode and very bored :( ).
let a = b
Multiply both sides by a to get
a² = ab
Add (a² - 2ab) to both sides to get
a² + a² - 2ab = ab + a² - 2ab
Factor the left, and collect like terms on the right
2(a² - ab) = a² - ab
Divide both sides by (a² - ab)
2 = 1

2+2 traditionally refers to a car with 2 front seats + 2 "sorta" back seats. The early Mustang fastbacks are designated as such because of the fold-down back seat, as opposed to the coupe's fixed back seat. Other examples are in cars with a "vestigal" back seat, like the Porsche 911, where you can at best fit your golf bag and gold medallions.
