What does a throw out bearing sound like when going bad?

I have blown a second clutch in a single year. I believe this one was giving me some clues that I chose to ignore. I swaped to five lug Cobra brakes not too long ago. I was under the impression tht the E-brake could use some tightening, leaving the cables to hang a little. When I lowered the car, then installed my Spec Stage II, I would hear a high pitched squeal when I got on it kinda hard. I always thought it was the E-brake cables rubbing on the drive shaft. Well, I just got my 3:73's installed, and with the car on the lift, I inspected the drive shaft, to find absolutly no marks on it what so ever from the E-brake cables. Needless to sat, the clutch blew out the same day.

So know, I am thinking this could have been the throw out bearing squealing from being adjusted too tight and riding the PP the entire time. Does this sound about right? Can someone with experience of a TOB squealing describe the sound please?
