The SPOUT connector is a little grey connector off the TFI wiring harness. WHen it is removed, the computer is not able to control the timing. This is done when setting timing (or some people with tune issues will set their SPOUT out timing at like 25* and leave the SPOUT out - this is called running 'locked out timing'. They set timing at whatever they choose and leave the SPOUT out so the timing does not change. More common on SN95's or some forced induction foxes.
My car will not start when mine is pulled. And if I pull it when it is running it imediately dies. Well that was after the timeing adjustment. Whats that about?
