Electrical Multiple spark with spout in, normal when out

Interesting. If it has a resistor in there like the seatbelt on my truck that would be cool because I have thousands of resistors. According to LMR, it just completes the circuit (https://lmr.com/item/LRS-14489C/1986-95-Mustang-50L-Spout-Connector). I have zero resistance on the spout, so LMR is correct.

Have you used the ECU exchange? I never had luck with reman electronics save for my Ducati. Nice to know I could just pop over too. Thanks! I used to live in Auburndale BTW.
About 5 times between me personally and the shop, multiple members here have used them too, I should ask for royalties
That's where I am now , Auburndale.

I have an ‘86 converted to MAF. I sent my ECU in to ECUExchange a few weeks ago and got it back in a couple of weeks. I paid about $125 (I ordered their service in 2022, but just sent it in recently) but their current pricing is a little higher. They found several problems and fixed them, and replaced the three capacitors that always seem to fail. I am very pleased with their work.

Thanks Bill! I'm hoping the connector does it, but that's not bad at all. My Lincoln mig welder board was around $500 10 years ago lol.
