What does the purge flow sensor look like?

Im in the process of getting my purge flow sensor replaced, but I believe I have gotten the wrong part. I think they sold me the canister and not the sensor. What I have is black, and looks like 2 hoses hook up to it. Its about 2" x 4" x 6" and made of plastic. Anyone know if this is teh sensor?

****, well i had a pic but i cant find it. it's a small little black piece shaped like an L. it has two little hose nipples on each side of it and a connection piece. just tell him it's the purge valve sensor, not the canistor.

what exactly would that do? Is the sensor inside the canister? It sounds like we may be talking about the same thing except that the hose connections on the part I have are on the same side, about 2 inches or so apart.
