Im ordering 4.10 gears this week for my baby any things else beside the speedcal should i get? thanks

Don't forget the fluid and friction modifier, as well as the rear end bearings/rebuild kit.

Is it necessary to get the rebuild kit? I thought it was only for high mileage cars?

Well he's got a 98, so I assume that he's got a high mileage car.

If you're going to dip into the rear, might as well replace the axle bearings before they go out on you.

I posted three levels of rebuild kits, each progressively more expensive ad containing more replacement parts. I think he should go with the biggest kit. Especially if he can do it all himself.

my friend owns a shop so were going to do it there he telling me to go with the 2nd kit so thats what i'll probally do

Sounds like a plan... Good luck with the install man Might also want to get an extra crush sleeve or two in case you overtorque...

i read somewhere I need a speedo gear, that my speedometer is drive by a gear not ecu yet I can not find a speedo gear to buy, but can i use the speedcal?
