My 96 Cobra has a problem with the coolant light coming on and off. But the problem is the coolant is full to the line when the car is cold. Now when the car is warm it moves 3/4's of the way down the resivior but does not go all the way empty.
The light will go on and off periodically, but it never stays on for any length of time. There is no pattern to it because it will do it even with the car cold.
Also my coolant temp gauge has mysteriously quit working. Do you think the coolant light is a temperature warning? I don't think the car is getting hot, but just in case?
