I will be taking the front/rear seats out of my 98 tomorrow. What i'd like to know is.. What exactly will I need to remove the seats? Anything I'll have a problem with? On the back seats.. Where are the bolts/screws (whichever it is )

I will also be pulling seats from a 04 GT (leather) and would like to know where the bolts/screws are on this also.

Thanks for any info you can give

BTW, If you were wondering.. I am trading my seats + cash for his leather. I do believe he plans on buying aftermarket seats soon, though he'll need my seats until he gets the new ones

These 04 GT seats will go right into my car right?

I changed interior in my car and its pretty easy. My car is convertible so i have no idea how rear seats come out of coupe. The front seats just have 4 bolts and you have to disconnect wire on the bottom of them. Power seat track wires from 04 wont work in 98. You need to change the seat track.

Could you go into further detail about the seat track thing? What will I need to do to get the power to work on the 04 seat?

Thanks

Yeah, I took a look at my seats today and it should be pretty easy to get them out.

Hopefully someone will give me somemore info on switching seat tracks

Are you changing the whole seat/track out or just the seat?

Everything can be done with simple hand tools. If there's a link somewhere you can look at the rear seat delete instructions to see how to remove the rear seats out.

Well I guess I can take whatever I need.

He is selling the seats, though he wants mine (exchange + cash). So if I have to have his tracks, he'd have to have mine, correct?

You need your tracks and he keeps his. Your seats wont move and be stuck in place if you took his.

Back when I had my GT, I would ride around with no passenger or back seats. It was kinda cool setting **** on the floor where the passenger seat would normally be.
