What Exhaust Would You Use?

My car is an SN95. For what it's worth, I pieced together my own catback using tailpipes from LMR (the stainless 1979-1997 tails), Flowmaster 40s, and 2.5" Walker flow tubes. The fit wasn't 100% perfect, but I attributed that to the MAC h-pipe I used. A professional install was out of the question as it would be ridiculously expensive over here. I made do and got everything to fit very nicely without any welding and just some slight cutting. The fit of the LMR tailpipes is fantastic (the SN95 hanger locations and body dimensions are identical to the fox bodies with the exception of different style rear hangers on 1998-2004 cars) and even have hangers welded near the mufflers which eliminate the need to weld hangers directly to the mufflers. My only gripe is that I couldn't get the passenger side pipe entirely straight without the rear hanger contacting the bumper support slightly. But it's not that big a deal as I can trim the hanger a bit and get it to fit perfectly (I've been lazy and have yet to do so; I've wedged some cardboard in there until I get around to trimming it).

This is what I would recommend if you are adventurous enough to piece it all together yourself. Otherwise, I would recommend a Dynomax kit as they're made by Walker (an OEM supplier) and typically have no fitment issues. I'm a Flowmaster fan, which is why I didn't go this route.

Edit: Just realized that you have a GT. The LMR pipes wouldn't fit. :/

I ran a DynoMax cat back on my 93 GT back in 93/94. Sounded nice and fit perfect.

Ive been eyeing one of those on summit, just dont know if i want to spend the coin on it. Im tired of having to keep adjusting the mac every time I pull a header or hpipe off to fix something.
