what gears on 98gt

what are the stock gears on a 98 gt 5spd? mine came with 16in rims stock.

stock gears for 17 inch rims were 3:08 and if you got the upgrade like I did they were 3:27, 16 inch rims came with 2:73 I believe. Check the tag on the rear differential, it's on there.

The possibilities are 2.73, 3.08, 3.27, and 3.45. Check the axle code on the sticker inside the driver's door frame.

yes...2.73. i had to do away with those and get 3.73. MUCH BETTER!
