looks like im going to be getting my old turbocoupe back ...... the goal is to do a budget performance build and see how fast i can get this thing going in the 1/4 .

not going to have any crazy parts but would it be best to go with head studs or just a good set of arp bolts ?

and is there any special gasket i should go with , felpro ? what part number

thanks guys

I didn't know ARP made head bolts...regardless, studs are $85 and cheap insurance IMO.

I'm just running a stock head gasket (with studs) myself but a lot of people recommend the fel-pro 1035.

IMO, stock 12pt headbolts and either a stock 8993 gasket or the 1035 is all you need...

got ya ... i did not know if studs would be a necessity at this point or not.

for rite now im going to be stuck running a .60 / .48 t3 untill i can determine where to go from there .

but even with the IHI the bucket went 14.9 on 15psi ..this should be fun

also

at what point would it be benificial to go with a say boblog header ?

my stock manifold has the notorious crack in it .

but for the 320$ price tag of the log manifold its kind of up in the air rite now
