What headers - GT40 heads?

Well, that didn't work. I've put in them in my "public" album, which I think everyone can see...not sure.

I'll see if I can get them on Flckr or something.

I'm running a 302 (5.0) in my 66' coupe with gt40 heads. I use the headman headers (shorties) posted above. they fit fine and i have no plug issues at all.

Thanks Mr. Woodster - exactly the post I was looking for.

I think that the pictures are telling the story - my plugs aren't pointed the same way as everyone else's, and I've got some f'ed up heads that have GT40 valves and markings, but GT40p plug angles....just my damn luck.

WTF???

I guess the search for some GT40p specific headers will begin.

Ya, your plugs are most visibly different! I'd say bummer, but aside from the header issue, the Gt40P head is the better head to have. Good luck with the hunt!
