I have a 2003 GT auto, w/vortech supercharger, w/ a mac pro-chamber. Just wondering what long tube headers would be my best bet.

I've heard good things about bbk l/t's, JBA's, hooker, but I don't know which will bolt up to an auto. trans. car. I think the bassani mid-lengths will?

Yes but their headers are supposed to fit better than the Macs do. They are wider than the Macs so you don't have to take the passenger side header off to pull the trans. Plus they are stainless so thats another plus.

I've been reading that Macs don't require you to remove the passenger side header to access the tranny.

You want ceramic coating on headers. 3 cans of ceramic paint (VHT) will do fine, and at $30 its a bargain.

If you do go with Bassani, you can only use a Bassani xpipe without having to fab up an existing one. I went the Bassani route, and am wishing I went with Kooks or Hookers instead.

Its kind of hit or miss with whether you can pull the trans or not. Just like some people have been able to fit BBK's on an auto and others couldn't make it work.

I bought Mac's and they fit perfectly. I had no issues with misalignment.
