State Farm didn't try to work with me either when I told them I was going to cancel after almost 10 years with them. They just said ok, done.

Just cancelled.

Donna answered (the one that I talked with the past 2 days)

"Good Morning SF, Donna speaking"..........

"Hi, this is R...C.... Calling to go ahead with the cancellation."

"Ok..one second......; Done; Anything else?"

"No"

"Ok" Have a nice day"

Now just waiting for my reimbursement check.

I have priced Progressive and Allstate. Both have showed around $1200 a year for the mustang and about 1800 a year if I add an Explorer, which I plan on.

I am trying to get the coverage upped for the Mustang because it only books around $9000 right now, but I have over $15,000 in just parts on the car. So..either they up the pay out if it gets totaled or they allow me to take off the parts. Paying $1000 for a car "worth" $9000 is just robbery.

I had USAA when I was overseas and I was paying $100 a month on an 01 Neon. Then when I got back to the states it went down to $40 a month. Then I bought a mustang and they told me $324 a month. I told them to kiss my a$$. So I called geico and since my wife and I are both military they gave us a double military discount. Now I pay $150 a month on the stang and an 04 Liberty. Both with full coverage.

I'm on my dad's insurance still because he gets a "fleet" rate lol. We have a lot of cars which makes it cheaper.
