What is a Clean SVO worth?

Hi everyone,

I have the opportunity to purchase what I think is an 84 1/2 SVO Mustang. It looks very clean with the following exceptions.

The front seats dont appear to be stock (they are red and the rest of the interior is black)

It looks like it has been painted (It was night when I saw it... but it looked too clean for a 22 year old car)

Everything else is there and the Odo reads about 97,000 miles.

What would you pay for this car? (I will try to get pics up)

And is it a car that can be daily driven?

Prices for these cars vary, but you could probably get it for $3000 or less, depending on what the owner knows about the car and how bad he needs the cash. If the car has been maintained, you could drive it daily. If it hasn't been, it likely won't be too expensive to prepare it for daily use.

I've seen some decent ones for between 2-3k. I thought about selling my stuff and getting one, but for under 2k I can rebuild mine with a new paint job. It's just overwhelming to look at.
