66 COUPE, 289 V8-SECOND ENGINE, AUTO, EMBERGLOW EXT/ PARCHMENT INT. I DROVE IT DAILY UNTIL LATE 2000 AND THE I STORED IT INSIDE. THE LAST TIME I DROVE IT WAS 2003. THE CAR NEEDS MINIMAL WORK AND A NEW BATTERY TO GET IT RUNNING. IT HAS NO MAJOR BODY FLAWS AND HAS NOT BEEN WRECKED. IT HAS 171K. WHAT IS IT WORTH??

What do you mean by "minimal work"?

Car sales are slow these days and I would think unless your car stands out amongst the classics, don't expect too much.

This months Old Cars Price Guide has these numbers not that it means you can or will get that so take it for what it's worth.

1 - $25,300 - this is for an over the top perfect restoration
2 - $17,850 - well restored
3 - $11,480 - very good original or older restoration
4 - $5,100 - good driver needing minimal work
5 - $3,060 - restorable

Odds are you are in the 3 to 4 category
