You may have to redo your whole fuel delivery system as well (can't recall when ford switched to returnless fuel systems- if I remember correctly I think they went returnless in 99 so you maybe able to use your existing plumbing and fuel pump)

first year of returnless is 1998 believe it or not.

Its no secret .......... I don't like mod motors

The number of cams they got impresses me no more either

They all are bow wow dogs down low

Look at any fair comparison of each one on a dyno
and

NOW ...... force some air & fuel down their throat

Things start to get interesting in a hurry

never the less ........... when talking mod motors ..............

NA ...... stay away ... OR ... you'll pay

If you want push rod low end power

You gotta get one
or
Use a blower/turbo to prop up the non existing lowend of a mod motor.

I'd try to find a nice 94-95 (almost impossible) rather than move to a 5.0 in that 98.
