Please ignore the wiring hanging down... I've been tearing around looking for the wiring to my brake light switch (the previous owner put a stereo in with a chit load of wiring).

What is the chrome thingy thing hangin there in the middle of the picture. It's mounted an L bracket to the dash. Looks factory? No clue. Have not followed the cable out the back of it.

"seat-belt fastened" warning light. It was an option in 67.

Come on.... really?

So if I look in there I'll see a light bulb? That's funny.

Considering the didn't even have belts when I bought it. I just put in a fresh set of Simpson's.

Yup, it is upside down. Have one in my GT. Mine is mounted in the dash, down low. They were supposed to opereate on a switch. First turn on the car, the switch closes for a few and then as the contact heats up, the switch opens and turns off the light. Mine comes on at intermittant times. Still, a cool option. If you don't want it, sell it on ebay. Plenty of people will.

They tended to heat up and bake the red plastic insert in front of the bulb.
