What is the best exhaust to buy?

borla stinger or bassani. flowmasters sounds good but is alumized. you are basically downgrading from a stainless exhaust to aluminized. flowmaster does make stainless muffler you could weld into you current exhaust. Flowmasters usually do not make quite as much power as a strait through muffler.

I hate my MagnaFlows. Tips rattle and the tailpipes are the *****tiest design I have ever seen on a cat-back!

Was it too difficult for you to assemble the 3 pieces?!?!

The design is actually -great- because you have a lot of flexibility on how to set it up.

Who said anything about assembling??? I was talking about the Allen scews that come loose periodically and need to be retightend causing the tips to loosen. They use too many adjustments for the tips. A common problem is tip rattle too no matter how tight you have the damn thing.

To difficult for me??? With the times you posted you must have the Catback on backwards!

i drove an 01 cobra with the magnaflow cat back and it rattled i didnt know what the hell it was... what ever...

hey if you want a deep and mean exhaust you get long-tube headers. good h-pipe catted or not what ever. (catted will be a little quieter mybe bring more of the deepness to your attention and non will be loud and deep more loud though.) then you get the flowmaster american thunder cat-back. talk about mean. everytime i hear it i get goose bumps. it sound so good. you will be very happy. get 2 1/2 in. the bigger the pipe the deeper the sound.

i was reading through here. aluminized is not gonna rust. i dont know what the hell these ppl are talking about. companies just sell ss cuz they can get it cheap and tear you a new ass hole. i know a guy who has had the same flowmaster setup on is car sence 87 rusted but it dont leak and sounds good as hell might not look good but you either race or show. but dont be scared aluminized wont rust. and if anyone has proof that it does (which i know someone will cuz these ppl know everything.) ill appologize. everyone is worried about quality. dude get what sounds good and pts up the best numbers. i dont give a 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' if its made from aircraft metal or aluminum foil. your prolly gonna sell your car anyway or want to go with a mew exhaust befor too long. the set up i posted ^ will not dissapoint you.

Yes...It worked for a while but then the adjusting rod would just start touching the pipe again. I have heard to use a hose to cover the adjusting rod, but I don't know if I like that aproach. If this design was so good, why are there so many "rigs" to fix it??? I just don't like the design!
