I just took my car out and I need a sticker this month. I have a 1994 GT with a bassani Off-road X-pipe (no cats). I know they do a sniffer test with 1996 and newer cars, but what about my 94?
nope i beleive there is no sniffer test for you still just a plane old inspection. Dont hold me to it because i know a guy who helps me out with my sticker on my 90 because of my dumps.
Only 96 and newer vehicles have to get the car hooked to the computer and get their codes pulled (OBDII) There is no sniffer test and you can have a certain amount of fault codes too. Its basically a waste of time. There is going to be emissions for 95 and older vehicles within the next 2 years.
only 96 and newer vehicles take the sniffer test. however, your car will fail the visual inspection unless you know the mechanic. personnally, I have a catted and o/r H that i switch back and forth for inspection. I dunno if thats an option for you.
