What is the purpose of purging nitrous?

What are the jetting specs? Are there options or is it only one setting? And of course, can these cars be found at a local dealer or does one have to be connected?

You can buy the GT-500E from the company that makes them. They are VINed as 1967 Mustangs... New.

As for the Saleen Focus... You can get it at ANY Ford dealer that sells Saleen's.

Jetting? No idea.

Yea - but with the N2O Focus, if you actually fill the tank with nitrous and install that last little hose to make the system functional, you void your warranty - Steve Saleen and his boys won't lift a finger to help you. Now I don't just mean your warranty from Saleen, I mean your warranty from Ford! And not just on the engine, but transmission and everything else!

And? He wanted to know of a car maker and I gave it to him... Never said anything about any warranty.

What I am saying is that it proves that superchargers and turbos are generally safer than nitrous.
Many car manufacturers incorporate superchargers and turbos into their vehicles, but 0 use nitrous AND include some sort of warranty.
He has a good point. Nobody offers nitrous as a factory option for reliable power.

I'm sure there are many more reasons that that. It's a chemical, can't be purchased everywhere making the car area specific (live near a Nitrous Refiller), bottle pressure is dependent on temperature so if car is left in the direct sun... kaboom...

Nitrous IS!!!! is just reliable as a supercharger or turbocharger, given the person using it knows what he's doing. I have both a supercharged and nitrous car and have never had a problem with neither.

Simply put, Nitrous is JUST AS RELIABLE as a supercharger for an engine.

Manufacturers don't have it as a factory option or warrenty it because of the risk involved of storing a 1000psi, high pressure tank inside their car all the time.

Yes it does - the fact that the general public cannot safely handle nitrous in a vehicle is why I said what I said.
Nitrous may be 100% safe for you because you understand it, but you are not the general public...
Think about it - McDonalds was sued because some idiot lady said the coffee she bought was too hot and she burned herself. Now you see "caution - hot" warnings on any hot beverage you buy.
Do you really want this lady handling a nirous setup???

It's true that it wasn't mentioned, but shouldn't that be a given? Who wants a brand new car with no warranty? On my own from the moment that it's driven off the lot.....fuhgetabotit

And I have to agree with aaron11272. Not everyone is aware of the dangers of using Nitrous Oxide in certain environments. And I live in Houston. Hell Time....I mean, Summer is right around the corner and it blazes like nothing else around here. All in all, boost is the breakfast of champions

Yea,I dont want everyone having nitrous knowledge.

That way I can continue to blow away more super and turbo cars
