I have an 85 that was converted from the original 4-cyl to a V8 w/ a carb at some point.
The engine bay is a mess of spliced wires and unused connectors, I'm trying to figure out wiring issues. What are the three boxes I see here?
I'm pretty sure #3 is the ignition box, is this a Duraspark 2? #2 Is a secondary box I'm not seeing mentioned in any of my manuals, and #1 is a plug (relay?) that's connected to wires from #2. Also bonus question, what do I need to buy to get rid of all of this? Would an MSD 6AL do the trick?
