There were throttle response enhancer Or TPS signal smoothing gadgets on the market. If there is no part number on it and no maker’s mark, that’s my wild guess.

The label is wiped. I can find no other markings on it.

Casper's TPS Enhancer

They still make them for other vehicles, but have been discontinued for the 5.0. It's snake oil

What was it supposed to do? How do you “enhance” the TPS?

At 70% throttle it bumps the tps voltage to max to fool the ECU Into thinking it’s at WOT. Changes fuel and timing slightly. It’s just tomfoolery.
