Today I am changing the cracked intake on my 2001 GT. It has 140,000 miles. As I was removing the COPs I noticed oil collected around the top of the boots. It was down as far as the first bend on the boot. Do I need to change the boots? Also there is a hole in the intake galley, I can't really tell how far it goes down but it does have threads. Thought about sticking a small screw driver down there but didn't want to damage anything. Is this normal and what is the hole for? Thanks for your help.
