Somebody offered me a 1986 Totally stock svo with like 26k miles. red with grey cloth sunroof and in perfect shape. Asking 10500. What do u folks think?

Sounds nice ... any pics? Price seems high but not unreasonable considering the mileage.

The car looks nice. However, $10 500 for it is still asking way too much. I'd pay maybe between $5000 - $7000, if that.

I payed $7,500 for a mint 85.5 with 31k miles. but that also looks pretty sweet and clean. And it has really low miles, but I think its still a tad bit high. I couls see about 9000 or 9500 for it.

If you could talk him down to 9,00-8,500 I'd get it.

10500 sounds about right since
you only have 26K miles.

Run a carfax on that, seems like a little more wear on the interior than a 26K car should have, bet it flipped over to 126K and was just extremely well cared for... makes the difference between a $10K car and a $4K car.

it looks very nice overall but id be skeptical if thats the actual milage, even it if is correct I still wouldnt pay more than $8K for it.

I second getting a carfax on that before making the investment
