I am wanting to upgrade my breaks front and rear from the stock "fled flinstone breaks" that my 86 vert gt has. Any ideas and preferences? I want to keep the stock 15" 10 hole wheels. So nothing that will not fit that. Thanks in advance for any help.

The largest front disk you can fit under a 15" tire is 11" + caliper

If you run a 12" rotor you will need a 16" rim to clear the hardware.

You can probably check out SSBC (stainless steel brake company) to see what they have for you.

BTW: Upgrade the fronts before worrying about the rears if you have to do things in pieces. I.E. you won't notice any brake improvments from switching the rear drums out to a disk setup.

Think you have to start with installing -87+ spindles and struts.
Then there is either some good -87+ calipers and rotors, or some brake kits made for -87+ cars like "srothfuss" says :)
Ps, off topic.. Fell of the chair watching your avetar ..
